Basicaly its a part of a flash site - there is a news module that uses an xml file with image node tags to dynamically load image and text to a front page interface. Project Outline Basic SMS programming + Wap Push delivery system Users will send a text message to a Premium Shortcode to get ringtones eg text "Ciara" to 88838 Depending on the keyword sent; there will be a check of the database to locate the content and item price and the customer will be sent a SMS WAP Push message which contains a link to a WAP page containing: 1) a direct download link to the ringtone which can be downloaded. 2) a simple logo at the top 3) a brief amount of text information Depending on the value of the product a further 1 or 2 text messages may need to be sent to the customer (this is dependent on the reverse PSMS billing tariff) The crucial elements are that there must be handset detection. The user must be sent the correct format of ringtone which is compatible with their handset. All ringtones will be TRUETONES in original MP3 format. Only the customer who has paid for the ringtone should be able to download it. There should be a time limit of say 30 mins or 4 hours to download the ringtone after which the link will no longer work. Our database will contain all realtones as original MP3 Formats. We are happy to recode these into the appropriate formats and store these on the database so they can be requested for the appropriate handset. Your advice on the optimal way to do this would be appreciated. You MUST have experience with WAP Push and delivery of realtones, and you must show an excellent understanding of the different realtone formats and issues with handset compatibility. You must have some basic WAP site design capabilities. We will provide full APIs for the SMS shortcodes and gateways we are using.
