sf404sef Not working properly

I have installed sf404sef SEO component in Joomla 1.0.13 (the latest version of sf404SEF). It worked fine, but then I uninstalled SF404SEF when I moved my site to another domain. I have re-installed the SF404SEF component now, but cannot get its native module to work (i.e. the extra meta-tag fields do not display for the content items). I am positive that I use the correct module position (last one loaded by template) after having checked the index.php of the template. This problem needs to be fixed please, and you need to check and make sure that SF404SEF works fine for the site now. Important - I want the problem to be solved without hacking any code. You also need to explain to me what the problem was at the end of the project and indicate the changes you have made to solve the problem.
