DNJournal’s Ron Jackson releases NameNewbie.com
For the many newcomers entering the domain industry we also want to point out that the reasons why a domain name sells for a certain price can be varied and are not always clear to those who are unfamiliar with the domain market. If you do not understand why specific domain names command the prices they do, you are likely to make unwise domain registrations or purchases. We highly recommend that you do some basic research before you buy anything! As a starting point we have built a sister site specifically for you at NameNewbie.com.
Congratulations Ron on the new site. If there is a place online to start learning the domain name industrys, DNJournal, and now , are that place.
–Update–
Ron Jackson writes:
Thanks Sahar. NameNewbie.com has actually been up for some time now. I was getting so many requests for advice from industry newcomers through DN Journal that there was no way to answer all of them and still produce the publication. So NameNewbie was set up as a basic primer that I could direct those people to. Many may not be aware of it because I have never actively promoted the site, other than through some links on DN Journal like the one you cited. Otherwise, it is just a link emailed to newcomers who write DNJournal.com seeking more information on the basics.”
It’s not that it’s not easy to stay on top of the industry 24/7, it really is impossible. Still.. trying my best.
