In the Philippines, a fight against online pornography has developed, started by Catanduanes Rep. Joseph Santiago, chairman of the House committee on information and communications technology, is supporting Sen. Loren Legarda in the war on computer pornography.

The fight against pornography involves the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), according to Santiago, finding ways to remove the domain name of the Philippine’s top online portal with the help of Network Solutions according to a report in Balita from the Philippines.

“’We wholly support the fight against online pornography,’ Santiago said not long after Legarda urged the Inter-Agency Council Against trafficking and the NBI to crack down on what was claimed to be the country’s top online porn portal.”

“A few hours after Legarda attacked the site through the media, the portal shutdown its ‘free and open’ gallery of some 20,000 mostly lewd photographs of Filipino women and girls. A notice posted on the site reads: ‘Gallery currently offline — come back soon.’”

Santiago appears to be basing the possibility of removing the domain name on previous FBI efforts in the US in removing several domain names used by paedophiles to traffic in child porn.

“The NBI can make a case that the porn site has been violating existing Philippine laws against obscenity and child sexual exploitation. This can then be used to persuade Network Solutions to remove the domain name from the domain register” Santiago added.

“This may not entirely solve the problem, but this would at least set them back, in the same manner that the senator’s complaint forced the site to shut off its porn gallery of Filipino women and girls,” Santigo said.

I am Master Hughes of the National Meditation center also known as Alphacorps I applaud Catanduanes Rep. Joseph Santiago for his actions in shutting down pron site in the philippines these sites also assist in marriang fraud and dating fraud scams against americans and promote prostitution. The site are causing major problems in the US.Americans are looking at all Philipinos as thieves and liars. The image of the good philipino and dcent philipno is being destroyed by this corruption.

Rep. Joseph Santiago stand up and fight for the morals of the good philipino , congress is looking to stop immigration fraud by philipinos the US is turning against immigrants. This is stopping decent philippine women from immigration to American which stops Hundreds of thousands of dollars from helping good philippine people. Stop the fraud for the good of the philippnie people
